It is official! Crystal bought the tickets to Monkey: Journey to the West this week sometime. We're set to go on the 31st - a Saturday so we can catch the matinee show. It's a long drive from here to Charleston & since I'm the one who has to drive us I really wasn't too keen on going to an evening show. I can't afford to stay overnight either - not with my finances in the shape they're in.
I've never driven from here to Charleston, but I know that it's an hour and a half from my hometown to there & 2 hours from here to my hometown... so... that seems pretty damned far to me. I've got to find out if my neighbour knows any shortcuts - he's from Chas Town. It looks like about 3 hours and some change. That's not as bad as NOLA though right?
