A visit from the green fairy...

By the end of the week my bottle of Absinthe Edouard 72 should arrive at my house. I can't wait. I've been building up to it all week, re-reading a few of my favorite books on absinthe (along with a bit of Oscar Wilde, for good measure).

So is it Friday yet?

I bought a bottle on my honeymoon and we prepared it according to the "traditional method" ... I felt nothing. I wasn't even tipsy. So sad! frown I'll try it again with a different brand, maybe it was just crap. tongue
