Im going to try a bit of an easy to read format today so you can just skim if you wish!
My CD Project
After staring at my cd design for a few days, i decided that i did not like it at all and had totally taken the easy way out on the project. I am going to start over again tonight. This time, totally scrapping the cover image. Granted, i love the original cover image, it just does not work as a modern cd cover and all the filtering i try with it just makes it seem contrite. So, it is back to the drawing board for the third time. I am very glad i do not leave my digital projects to the night before cause i am DAMN fickle.
So if you liked the last ones, thanks, but i can do much better. I won't get frustrated and sell myself so short this time. Ya know
Netflix!
Yay! I got my first two Netflix movies today! Marie Antoinette and Havoc. I can't wait to watch them and then send them off and get more! This is sooo cool! Yeah, so I am a bit tardy on the Netflix bus..
Health
My doctor explained to me that its going to hurt like this the entire time the stent is in and that i cannot have any more pain killers. I was pissed at first, but once i accepted the pain and stopped being afraid that something was really wrong, it started to hurt less. Odd that. So I am going to work out today and get back to my normal 5 day routine. If i don't i will go crazy.
Mah Kittah
It is his birthday on the 19th so i am using it as an excuse to throw a party! I will be serving sushi, sashime, and teriyaki for those who arent daring enough. I am also baking cupcakes with cat ears and fancy candied eyes. I am going to try making spun sugar as a fur, but the odds i will just end up with sugar burns are quite possible as well.
So I leave you today with a really odd flower..

I am most certain that this mystery flower of yours (which is INCREDIBLE!) is a hybrid of this flower. I got a version of it in my shop once and it actually looked more like your fella. Unfortunately I have no idea what its name is but I'll find out next time we get exotics. Where was this picture taken? It's hard for me to imagine such a gem outside Hawaii. And it was hanging upside down? If you have time to kill, search images for either tropical, exotic or Hawaiian flowers and you will be bound to come upon it. Let me know when you do!
