So I got two new rats today. They are my first rats ever, and I'm very excited. they are sisters, and their working names are Lulu and Iris. If anyone actually reads this and has suggestions for names for a pair of girls, let me know. Names that work well in pairs, like "Thelma & Louise" are good for me, too.
What's up with the monstrosity that's being built just south of Hawthorne on 39th? Man, they had a great opportunity to build a nice apartment building to enrich the neighborhood with beautiful archetecture... but they went with "cheap motel" for a theme, and now it's just gonna be a blight. Why is it that the people with the money to actually do things like that all have such horrible taste in everything?
Went to the doctor's today with my sick son, and got some good news - just a bad cold virus. No pneumonia or bronchitis or anything. Now I can sleep in peace. Last night his cough was so horrible sounding, I was convinced he was dying of SARS. (and don't tell me SARS is a really bad cold virus - I already know. ) It's not SARS. I'll just shut up now, cause my writing is horrible and this is way disjointed.
