Quick journal enrty before work...

To answer Jonas... I would love to go to burning man, but their financial aid department told me my dad made too much money, so I've got to go to the local CC. The whole darn family will be headed to the Oregon Country Fair in July, however. Daisy would not make it all the way to Burning Man, although she made the drive from Portland to Eugene last year for the fair.

As for hoops, I gave up on the Blazers last season, and hardly followed them at all this season. It's the complete lack of heart that bugs me. They are just self-absorbed, spoiled rich kids who feel sorry for themselves at all times. My feelings this year consist of "anybody but the Lakers."

And it's sad that SG is moving HQ to LA. Portland has been part of the character that attracted me. San Francisco I could understand, but LA? Oh well. Could be worse- they could be moving to Texas. ( "Yee-Haw, those Dallas girls got dem some HQQTERS!") Doesn't the LA style get photographed enough? Are they hoping for better interviews or celebrity parties? I guess it seems weird in part because people tend to move from there to here and not visa-versa. Unless they're moving back to LA after coming here for school or something. I'm just blathering now...
