don't lose hope -my chihuahua had parvo as a puppy, the vet did all he could and then i took her home & gave her vitamin paste and subcuteanously (sp?) injected electolyte water. Ask your vet, since they'll be doing the same thing (for 7x the price) The good news is she's now 5 years old. good luck!
