I had a sorta, kinda, interview today. It went something like this:

"I need someone with a brain"
"I exploit what I have and I'll exploit you."
"If I say, 'this needs a skirt' I'll expect you to know what I mean."
"There's a guy that will sit and stare at you for a couple hours and give you anything you ask him for. That's what I need. I need you to close the deals."



Hmmmmm should I be flattered or repulsed? I've never been told I was being hired for my looks and my brain. At least he also acknowledged I had a brain. It's an industry I've never worked in but I think would be really cool to learn. I would get to travel. And it's a nice big fat salary. Just seems a little....ummmm....icky...

Still no word from the LA guy. The job I really want. The guy that has never seen me but likes my brain on paper. I think I will try calling him again...
