Is it safe to come out?

I danced through my morning yesterday. The rain provided the dramatic backdrop for my one-woman show. There is nothing quite like spinning out of control, with camera in hand, to document the dizzying momentum that landed me on my bed in a fit of giggles.




The past few weeks a blur as my body readjusted to stillness. I crawled into my heart to re-explore the past, to love, to lose, to let go. I shut down in order to re-emerge stronger, wiser, and healthier.



Im just gonna keep spinning into my future because clarity is then found in the stillness. I am finding peace in the storm. Peace is often discovered in unexpected places. In the grand picture of life Im just a simple Midwest girl with an East Coast edge trying to find my place in the south. I have to make my life here. I made decisions that brought me here and instead of fighting I will find a place to fit, even if not perfectly.
