Well happy National Quebec Day a.k.a. St-Jean day! Fireworks will fill the sky tonight as most of the province's population chugs down bottles of beer and waves the provincial white and blue flag. Quebec is pretty damn cool and only after 26 years of life here have I come to appreciate it.

In other news i'm learning to love Belle and Sebastian and noticing how much the lead male singer sounds like Donovan. My love is in New Jersey this weekend meeting up with family which I'm happy about because I know how much he's been missing them. However, next weekend he's MINE all MINE! I still don't know where we'll be but I relinquished the decision making for that weekend to him. I told him to surprise me but only to tell me what to pack. So as the weekend approaches I go blindfolded with a huge smile on my face waiting to spend time with the love of my life.
