cathedra

this morning's drive was by far one of the most "fun" drives to work i've had in a while. i've recently started listening to CISM the local university's student radio station and the morning show "La Marge" is just sooo damn good. i'll often start cracking up with a deep gutteral laugh in the morning. such fresh and original humour. however as of yesterday most if not all French universities are ont strike due to large government budget cuts, leaving the students with a bit more time on their hands and quite a predicament this morning. so in honour of the strike they decided to have a sing along during the show to which the dj's played Bananarama's "Venus" and everyone in the studio sang along and they encouraged the listeners to do the same. so it litterally sounded and felt like I had a car full of friends and we were singing at the top of our lungs to this song. i cracked up all the way to work, and actually stepped out of my car with a smile on my face.

so tomorrow i'm going to Ottawa with paradogmatic to check out the city and look at some apartments in different neighbourhoods. we'll also be meeting up with Mistyfly who already lives there. if all goes well *fingers crossed* MoosyFate and I should be moving in early to mid summer to our new home in Ottawa. *glow*
