Today my mom and I went to visit the gallery that might be representing me for my paintings. It was un-real. We got to the address, it was what looked to be an abandoned church or train station, huge, windows bricked up, a cobble stone courtyard that led beyond this huge gate that was made of scrap metal surrounded by sun flowers. I looked at my mom with a nervous smile and said, hmm lets check it out.
Well we get inside and bam, huge really nice a/c-tioned room with big paintings on the old brick walls with little spotlights on them. The mix of the very very old building and ultra modern set up was amazing. I didn't talk to the owners except say Hi and Thanks for letting us look around, but I wanted to see the feeling of the gallery before bringing my paintings to them. I think my style does fit in there, as there was maybe one artist is a loose-ly similar style, but nothing similar. My pricing wasn't too off either as most of the paintings along the same size/style were in the same price range.
Anyways Tuesday I call them back and talk turkey. We'll schedual a meeting and show them what I got. We'll take it from there. I am not expecting anything, this is just for "fun" and to see...what if.
Also I was contacted by the editor of STING magazine. Supposedly a new mag for men along the lines of MAXIM. He wants me to write an introductory article about what I do, and the whole women + porn biz + web etc..After that he'll decide if he wants to keep me on as a contributor. Interesting stuff happenin'.
Im in the process of baking a German Cherry Strudel so I gotta run, but wanted to let u know what's happening with me.
