I recently read "Your Brain on Music" by Daniel J. Levitin and it inspired me to start thinking about going back to school. I've always wanted to get a real scientific education, so I did some research online over the past weekend and discovered that UBC and SFU offer a 'Cognitive Sciences' program that encompasses Philosophy, Psychology, Linguistics and Computer Science. The potential to apply it to a career spans just about every field you can think of from neuroscience to broadcast communications.

I'm genuinely excited! Now I just have to finish up at BCIT electrical and get used to the idea of a student loan.
