Since when can TV pause the show you're watching to show you an overlayed commercial (lookin at you TBS)? It's not even a fucking commercial break, its in the middle of what I was fucking watching! Fuck you TV.

Why don't they teach critical thinking in school? How about a mandatory class teaching kids how to use their magnificent brains to sort the reality out of everyday propaganda and politically correct ass-fuckery? It could be taught by the gym teacher in between his french classes.

Found a condo in delta, paperwork is almost complete, move-in date is Apr. 20th! I also went on a mini book-bender yesterday kickstarted by a giftcard I got for my birthday from M's dad. It only cost me $16 and I got the new Mark Haddon book along with another advertising/political book, so it could have been worse (last trip to chapters comes to mind)....

Got a call from BCHydro the other day, I've been "short-listed" for an interview with them. Great news.

I've got funding, and now I just need a place to live. 5 year plans are overrated anyway.

I've applied to finish my apprenticeship at BCHydro (the big utility company up here). I've got the required courses from grade 12 (physics math and english) and high marks in my first two years of apprenticeship so I figure I've got a leg up on the competition. I'm excited!
I'm also shopping around for a reasonably priced condo (hahaha.... "reasonable"), and M will be moving...

Tomorrow I get a whole weekend with M! Its been a long time since she has had a weekend off, and a long time since we've lounged around the house together all day. Add Borat tomorrow night and you have the makings of an epic weekend.

I let M talk me into skipping school today so I could stay over last night and do some shopping/haloweenie things today. It turned out to be a great day! New Deftones came out and I found some shoes at the mall. M bought a talking darth vader mask. Bed.
