hun, that fucking sucks that you got screwed over BUT like you say, it's always more fun on your own - you can be the mysterious pretentious wanker posing film noir style by the bar and let everyone wonder who you are and how you have the self-possession to happily venture out unaccompanied...hell, arrogance RULES and nothing comes across as more arrogant than not needing anyone else, i fully endorse that as a philosophy. wooo!
