Don't feel too bad about missing class. Sometimes those conversations can be infinatly more important. "I never let my scholloing interfere with my education"-Mark Twain- Ya, I love music theory but the point is to be able to speak the language of music so that you can say things in your own words and form interesting thoughts in music. School doesn't let me do that because I don't have time.

missing class is good. until you get to the exam and find that the essay portion is based wholly on the one lecture you missed. sure, it doesn't happen often. but it happened to me.
