I didn't get my paper/presentation done. I will have it done for Tuesday.
Jupiter and Saturn were awesome. We got there before we could see Jupiter, so we looked at Saturn first. It was so cute! It was a big dot with a ring around it, and you could see Titan to the left of the rings. I looked through the telescope several times, then we could se Jupiter, so the telescope was turned around and we had a look. Jupiter was a bright striped dot--we could see the clouds, which was really cool. We could also see four moons. We went back and forth between Saturn and Jupiter (it was a bit cloudy outside, and Jupiter kept hiding). We also had a look at the double binary system in the middle star of the handle of the big dipper. That was also really pretty.
Last night my friend came over and we drank and smoked and she cleaned my fish bowl and my guinea pig's cage. Yes, I was bad, drinking when I have a lot of work to do. I just got up. I was supposed to go to a wedding shower today, but I didnt get up until around 2:30 and that started at 2:00. It's not like I even know these poeple--a second cousin and the Ukrainian woman he is marrying. I met them at Thanksgiving about a year and a half ago. I suppose I'd met the second cousin before that, but I was too young to remember.
