I got my cap and gown today and ordered my invitations! Now I need to work on getting my shit together so I can actually graduate.
Maybe I shouldn't be on my third glass of wine tonight? I was totally going to work on stuff tonight. I probably still could but, err, probably wouldn't do my best work
Today in Radio Astronomy we actually started using the telescope! Well, she told us how to log on to it and one of our classmates logged in and we got to look at the data and stuff. We're remotely controlling a telescope in Massachusetts. We were supposed to have our own but now it's isn't going to get here until the first week of May (the week before finals). I'm actually getting excited about this now. At first I wasn't but now that I can actually control a radio telescope, it's pretty damn cool!
I had to cancel my counselor appointment for friday because I have a senior seminar meeting at the same time. I scheduled the appointment for this friday because I figured that since we were having a meeting on the 31st we wouldn't be having one on the 7th. Of course, I skipped the meeting on the 31st so I guess it's a good thing that there's a meeting (and hopefully I'll actually have some sort of presentation!). But I do kind of need to see my counselor and the next available date was the day before my next appointment so there was no point in rescheduling.
