Feeling 76% better today. I had a raging fever yesterday. It was like 70 degrees and humid and I was fucking freezing and sweating like mad. Fun shit. Oh yeah, don't forget the freaking out, that was fun too. I'd say I feel 100% better, but I can't lie of my tummy or hug anyone because my boobies might ASPLODE if I do. Owchie. And...gross.
I also got to chat with the mum this morning. I'm so fucking happy that my parents and I are the best of friends rather than just matching DNA like so many out there. I got super lucky. Fun story: My mom and dad met right here in San Diego. A couple of flower children, My mom went to a party at my dad's and was bored, so she nicked a book from the shelf that happened to be one of his poetry books. She read it, and another, and another and that's how she fell in love.
He found her and they spent the rest of the night on Sunset Cliffs together. 3 weeks later they got married and have been together for the last 35 years. 
They're coming to visit me this summer; I can't wait!!!!
