Honestly, I have been reading your journal lately and have wanted to comment before but hadn't because even here, I'm a bit clumsy. I have a tendency to write then delete before posting. Silly, huh?

I enjoy reading about your life. You are interesting too.

Reading about your search for a job really took me back. I always hated that. Filling out applications, interviews, callbacks... blah! I havn't had to do that in a while. I hope it pays off for you and you find something you really enjoy.

Speaking of jobs, you asked what a 'set carp' is. Short for set or scenery carpenter, its person responsable for the assembly, care and maitenance for scenery pieces and sometimes props for a stage production. This could range from a few backdrops, banners and drum risers for a rock show to a big pirate ship like the one in "Kathy Rigby is Peter Pan" Or who knows what with a Cirque show.

As far as what stuff I'll be doing with Cirque, I don't know yet but it will be cool. There is so much going on with a show like that and so many people involved behind the scences that I'll probably learn a few different positions during rehearsals and a few more on the road. We'll see! I'll keep posting as things develop!

Thanks for the compliment about my car. I try not to get attached to things but that car is cool. When I feel blue, I'll go for a drive. That usually helps.
