ok, so im starting to settle into santa rosa.
and by settle in, i do NOT mean that im anywhere near unpacked haha.
i still have to mapquest almost everything, and officially only know two people (beyond co-workers) out here (yay for meeting joker_c and omeganightmare last night).
catagogo and i went over to joker_c's place and had wine & port & and the most amazing chocolate ever. it was a great night, and just what i needed to start my week off on the right note. plus, nothing beats seeing catagogo. i miss her so much, and feel like i never get to see her anymore. the extra twenty minutes added to the drive it requires to visit her is sooo much more tedious. it's like im missing my other half haha.
but im feeling restless. its like, with the changing of season, im taking stock of my life...and while i love my life, and it's great, im not where i envisioned myself being.
the boy is moving out - things didnt work out, and i realized im young ... i wanna have my fun still! so im taking the kitty and settling onto the couch for a lazy night in. id love to meet more people out here...i love going out (be it to a club, a show, or just to starbucks). example; i ate lunch at starbucks alone today, and would far rather have called someone up and met them for my lunch break.
overall, santa rosa is ok. its not the ebay, or the city, but its alright. i miss being close to the city, and all the things that go hand in hand with living in walnut creek. i had finally gotten the hang of things out there, and now im beginning all over again. but, a new year is approaching, so i suppose that if there's any time to make a fresh start, this is it.
i love fall. im excited to get out all my sweaters and scarves and cute jackets. i love layering, and the whole fall "look". its one of my favorite seasons - but i can never decided if i like fall or spring better. but definite fan of the transitional seasons.
which is your favorite and why?
