It's only been three days into the week and it's already been more eventful than most of my year.

Sunday, I started out the day taking some test shots to familiarize myself with my camera, because I'd like to try shooting my own set, just to see what I'm capable of. This isn't really anything out of the ordinary, but I got a couple of really pretty shots I'd like to share for some critiqueing. These are just practice shots, though. I have a friend who's a cinematographer and he's going to set up some lighting for me when I'm ready to do the actual set, so the light will be better.








Yesterday, I had a few things added to my faerie and flowers on my arm. I want to post pictures of that, too, but I haven't had a chance to take any.

Today at work I was trying to cut a block cheese in half with a big giant knife. I was holding the cheese with my left hand and cutting with my right. Before I knew what the hell was happening, I accidently stabbed myself in the side of my left hand with the big giant knife. I tried to put my hand in mouth, because my initial reaction to injury is to stop the bleeding with my mouth, which probably isn't the best way to handle any open cut. This time, my mouth instantly filled with blood and I was spitting it out, so I had blood all over my face. There was blood all over the floor, all over my apron, all over my other arm, the bathroom sink... It was everywhere. Now I have five stiches in the side of my hand (which is also on the arm that has the fresh tattoo) and I had to get a tetnis shot. There will also be pictures of this injury when I'm not afraid to take the dressing off and look at it.
