Today is my birthday, so I thought I'd post a blog... my first blog. It's weird how, as we get older, birthdays become a lot less significant. Maybe it's just me. When I was little, my birthday was a big fucking deal. I'd start getting excited in February, because I knew my birthday was just two months away. The week of my birthday, I wanted to throw up everyday, because I couldn't stand the anticipation. There would be cake and presents and parties and it felt like I'd accomplished some tremendous feat; living through a whole other year!! Now, my birthday could be any other day. I don't really care, but that's what makes me a little sad about it. It's like I out-grew my birthday. Getting older is no fun *sigh*

I feel the same way -- every year it seems like I should be doing something more for my birthday -- like laser-tag or something.

After 21, all other birth days suck. Besides drinking and getting faded not much to do on your birthday.
