Typical Rant Today
Um yeah, not too much going on as usual, I've just been kicking back for the day, I went out for a little bit today, and hung out with some elder friends who came over out of the blue, but that was pretty rad to see a face I haven't seen in a long time. I start back to work monday, 3 days refinishing and 2 days in the office, kinda getting tired of sitting on my ass all day. I think I have about 20 more days before my bank sends my overdrafts to the d.a.
. Oh well I'm not really sweating that shit anyways, even if I can't manage to get 400 dollars that's only like a week in jail anyways. So who cares. Only thing bad about jail is their nasty 15 cent meals of slop they give to you(makes me wonder why more people don't go on hunger strikes), and not being to see the sunrise, unless you're in there for longer than a week and can't get bailed out, then I would imagine it becomes more awful as the days pass. No wonder people sitting in jail usually become so anal. But then a lot of them get out and wonder what part of "Freedom" were they missing. I think it's just like anything else, they desire what they can't have until they get it, and a lot of the times, they're just like "eh.....fuck it".
I got into a conversation last night with a guy regarding racism, and he made a lot of sense, on how typical it is compared to something like jealousy, I have always been pretty anti racist my whole life, but in the way that he described it, and how common it really was, was indeed a pretty disgusting knock to my psyche. To put in terms like that, makes you reevaluate your own philosophy on a current view and makes you feel like you have even take it to an extreme like seperatists and supremacists do, well for me it did, obviously. The one thing that the majority of people think is wrong, all succomb to, that is very common, and well very ironic. I guess it's true after all, "being politically correct is a contradiction".

mostly we fight racism for the same reason we fight jealousy--it may be natural to exclude or hoard, but it's a knee-jerk reflex, not backed up by reality.
i mean, if the bitch leaves ya or someone else gets it in there, well--uh, uh...
hmmm...i dunno, we try to behave so others can enjoy their rights too i guess.
