I realize, that many of the things I blog about are pointless.
This is no exception.
While fulfilling my goal of sitting on the couch eating junk food and watching trashy television, I was witness to a brief preview of the continuation of the X-Men franchise, which as some of you may know is a film focusing on Magneto. This preview was on an E! show called the Daily 10. Now, any publicity for nerdy movies normally makes me happy, but this particular instance caused me to stare at the screen as if in a comatose state.
First, I do not think that the audience of shows such as the Daily 10 are the kind of people that will be dying to see a film about a comic book villain.
Second, if your goal is to entice your viewers into seeing this film, a good place to start is pronouncing the man characters name correctly.
CORRECT: MAG-KNEE-TOE
INCORRECT: MAG-NET-OH
His power isn't to control fishing equipment, you fucking douchebags.
