i found a bit of xmas cheer tonight. decided to buy a mini tree, and then went through the painstaking task of finding a tree stand (didn't want it to die w/o water), and got some last minute lights at target (they are almost sold out of everything), as well as some snowflake ornaments

anyhow i normally get kinda funked out b/c i do miss my sweetheart, but i dunno i just wanted to try something different this year. why not? not a huge investment
anyhow, i can't wait to show josh! i think he'll adore it actually.
