monday was a rest day, i knew tuesday was gonna be madness....
which it was...started my day about 1am and got ready and ate and all that good stuff hit the streets about 245am walked all the way across town till i got close to the capitol only to concider getting even closer.....after walking about 7 minles to get there i kept going even walking across the third street tunnel to get on the opposite side of the capitol building kept walkint until about 7thstreet and them found my way onto a very long line.......eventually gaining entry and then found a spot top sit and wait for the innaugural events to begin....at this time it was about 530am..event started at 11am ....waiting in the cold tamps and standing around for hours and the time finally came...and as milions upon millions of people saw was one of the greatest moments of my life. im not afraid to say it but a tear came to my eye during his extremely moving speech. this was my first experience really stepping into politics, but once i saw the 2004 DNC and heard him speak i knew there was something special about him and i never voted until now and im glad that after the struggles ive been through and the things i have done for this country that i am finally proud to be a citizen and a part of it.........love matt
