So, my first (kind of) post at SG, how fun. I got referred here from my friend Kestrel, and I have a full 3 months to try it out to see how I like it, and maybe even renew it after that.
This isn't my first visit to the site, I've been around it some, but not too much, since I really didn't have an account... go figure. Hopefully now that I actually have access to it, I'll find it even more intriguing.
Enough of that crap, though, on to my weekend. On Friday night, one of my friends down here in Austin had his gf come down to chill with us, so we did that whole thing where you sit around and complain about how you're not doing anything, but don't actually do anything about it. Eventually, like 3 hours later, we got off our asses and went bowling a bit, and then it started SNOWING IN AUSTIN. Hell fuckin' yeah, baby. I always get really excited about getting some snow, because it's very rare in Texas to get any snow. So, naturally, I took some pictures , and then ran around the streets sliding all over the place
So that was my Friday night. On Saturday, I woke up around 9, took a shower, then began my 3-hour drive back up to Dallas. Now, I'm one to really enjoy driving around and listening to music, because I consider it my time to just let go of everything and just sing to music, so the 3-hour drive was nothing to me. I met up with my friend (Kestrel, actually), and we just hung around her place, played some games, ate, watched a movie, etc. We also went to an art show, but you can goto her journal for more info on all that (including pics). Overall, it was a blast, and I'm glad I went up to Dallas for the weekend.
Anyways, I think I shall go play some iSketch now
