So I had a really great Christmas. It was nice to see some of my family and chat with the rest on the phone. This real was the first year in a long time that I talked to my father. We both only had good things to say to each other, but I did keep the conversation short. It's nice just to hear his voice sometimes. OTHER THAN THAT, I got some nice clothes for work, a heated blanket (which I needed desperately), lots of candy and some cool socks. I was glad my family decided to keep Christmas small this year. We each got one or two gifts for each other and everything was really meaningful.

Christmas dinner was the best part of my day though. I LOVE all the german/polish food my family makes. We had a ham, kielbasa and sauerkraut, city chicken (which is actually pork), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and lots of buttered bread and rolls. I ate like the chubby little girl I really am lol.
