Ok. Before I pass out fo' the night I'll expound on the lifestyle change.

I am no longer going to be "SKS, the resident drunk." I am giving up drinking.

I was going to go off and explain every reason why and what led up to this decision (there's a lot there) but I'll give the quick version instead (it'd wind up mostly a rambling diatribe otherwise for sure):

I just know who I am, and when I'm drinking I am not that person. Alcohol hasn't given me ANYTHING. All I've let it do is take away from me.

I am by no means a rabid, "expound on the evils of alcohol" teetotalist. I myself, personally am just done.

I've had a good run. There have been some good times drinking for sure, but the bad times and the negative far, far outway the good.

So there it is. If you wanna know more, feel free to ask. I'm going to pop an Advil and go to bed (damn you scissor-lift and your knee and back destroying ways!!!). Much love.
