New look for SG? It's ok by me. Change is good.

A group of us were outside work on break tonight and it seemed like every car that drove by was bumping some bullshit popular hip-hop. Well some of it was OK. Tolerable. We got to see some "hefty" girls dancing to the BEP's "My Humps." That was scary. It made me think about mass-produced bad music. This is nothing new by any means, of course. It doesn't change the fact that it's everywhere. It sucks. People just eat it up and it still disgusts me.

Obviously music is all about personal taste and what moves you. Some of that commercial stuff though...ugghhhh! How about a little bit of creativity? Some semblance of imagination? Some fucking passion?!

Fortunately my roommate was listening to Lovage when I got home from work. Thank you Sean! Now I'm further dosing myself with some Deltron 3030. I think I should be cured after I get a Danzig album or two in my eardrums. Or Black Flag's "The First Four Years." Hmmmmm.

Vainr and I are both in a situation where we need new vehicles. Plans are to hit up some used car lots tomorrow. Well, today actually. Ok. Back to music detoxification.
