We went to a co-worker's house for dinner on Saturday. She's Japanese, and made us croquettes and okonomiyaki. Nom nom nom! Oishii desu!
She also has, you know, an actual HOUSE. It makes sense because she's married with two kids and in her 30's (I think. Won't say her actual age.) And this house is amazing. I can't even describe it except to say that I covet it like mad. Covet covet covet! When I go to people's houses I get mad that I can't afford a house yet. It's completely illogical because I'm only just barely into my 20's, so duh! Even with my job, not many people could afford a house at my age. But I feel like I jumped from 20 to 28 maturity and lifestyle-wise. I'd rather have a dinner party than go to a keggar. The boyfriend and I have a relationship that is similar to that of a married couple. We have a great (weird) cat. So I feel like I should own a house.
But I don't.
So I'm sad.
(Not really, just jealous.)
