Unless this rule is new in the last few weeks, I think the important thing is that they don't want models to make a habit of asking for money.  Some models and members have posted links to fundraisers they are doing for charity.  Others have asked for donations to help with medical (or vet) bills after illness or accidents.  Some have posted their wishlist after a breakup where they need help with some of the basics to start over on their own.  Many girls post their wishlists around their birthday or Christmas.  It doesn't seem to be a big deal to do things like that once in a while.  If you ever have questions, I'm sure @lyxzen can help clarify how strict they are about that rule.  But, I think it comes down to making sure that asking people for money isn't the main reason you have an account on SG.  :)

And I understand that, almost left last year because I was studying sexology and learned I couldn't be modeling for SG if I wanted to become a sexologist...ended up realizing that's not what I wanted to do and was able to stay, but I understand.
