Ah, finally back again, got time to update. Been busy, and rather the worse for wear 
Had a good week, weather has been sunny, if a bit too sticky sometimes, but I had a great Sunday lying on the beach in my leopard-print bikini reading the papers..
Work's been good, I've got a new responsibilty, yay, call listening ha ha and I'm such a voyeur (or the errr aural equivalent of that), I just love listening to people talking when they don't know I am!
Been watching Firefly, which is great! Can't wait for the film now...Missing my mate Lou who will be back tomorrow, but she's having girlfriend issues so I'm trying to cheer her up, been a long-distance shoulder to cry on while she's at her mum's.
Held my first dinner party last night, a few uni mates I haven't seen for ages, I moved the dining table to the patio and we sat outside, got drunk and ate heavenly (even if I say so myself
) food: spanish baked chicken with chorizo and tomatoes, with rice and green beans, followed by strawberries and cream, then coffee, and later, a slice of galia melon (yummmmm) to cleanse the palate. The booze brothers were called for extra supplies at about 11.30, and then we stayed up till 5 getting raaaaather stoned and playing cool music, watching funny old metal vids... I woke up at 9 to race around and put clothes on and open a lecturing letter from the naighbours - spoilsports 
And work was paaaainful Everyone made fun as I was still drunk and then gradually more and more headachey... But a mate got a hilarious call from some ancient lady who claimed she'd seen 4 'arabian gentlemen' in a car "probably stolen!" as she said, near Exeter, so of course: "they're definitely going to bomb Exeter next you mark my words!" she was so convinced...
Especially when she saw an 'arabian family' taking pics in the cathedral, "I mean, why else would they been taking pictures?!?" hmmmm... she's on to something there, honest.
So I am so pleased to be home again, I stripped the minute I got in, slipped between broderie anglaise cotton sheets and dozed till I felt human, then pottered around clearing up mess and picking at leftovers... And then other, nicer neighbours popped over for a glass of vino and a smoke, she's really cool and works at a museum up the road, had been photographing their bird collection - made me think of AnnaLee ...He's great also, they had a great fancy dress party a few months back, rock n roll star themed, and I got to see some piccies, was wicked, I was Cher, looking sulty in seethru beaded black dress, met great people, a good night, good memories.
Now sleeping time again again, I think, as I'm working again tomorrow...

It was exciting,the will he won't he shoot himself saga! And it was nice to see Tony Curtis taking the piss out of some of his films
Thought the guy blowing himself up was a bit ott,maybe something a little less extreme,in the blood splatter department.
I don't start my hols until tomorrow,but i think a trip to the cinima is in order! or maybe a couple,so i can catch up on a few films
