Yup its that time again
So what have I been up to?
Last week I went to the orthodontists and had braces tightened, also I now have to wear elastics on them at night for the next few weeks, just fine-tuning the bite apparently. Sounds good to me, although I can think of more enjoyable ways to do that. Of which more, later Anyway, its a bit of a pain as I always go to yawn in the morning and nearly injure myself by snapping the bands.
♥I had a weekend guest, which was much fun. I got rather drunk and played those of my records which arent horrendously embarrassing (which are still in a big mess), watched Dreamscape, House of 1,000 Corpses, Green Wing, Dr Who, funny title sequences from Kekko Kamen and Cutie Honey live action, some of Shaw Bros classic Black Magic another must see for everyone. Went to my friend Ants for takeaway and chatting with many people on Sat night. Fingers crossed, I may be doing some voiceover work for an animation hes doing. Oh, and he was getting rid of lots of his old videos so I liberated: all of Doomed Megalopolis anime, Tiger on Beat, The Professional anime, Maniac, The Oracle, Night of the Doomed, Sorceress, Midnight, Rape of the Vampire, Mad Mission 4, Blue Sunshine, Slaughter High, 2019 and My Lucky Stars. A good haul, and hes still got bags full to get rid of, I wish I had the space.
♥I ate lots of chocolate, cooked chicken balti (yummmmm) and scrambled eggs and spent most of the rest of the weekend in bed the weather was generally rubbish. I hate saying goodbye to people, its so much fun to have company on a long weekend.
♥I have a new skirt! Very pretty, very teeny, which I will undoubtedly wear to London next weekend.
Oh and I may have solved my financial crisis Ive got a trial shift tomorrow night from 8.30pm till 1am at a bar round the corner from me. If it goes well I will do 2 shifts a week which I can hopefully bargain up to 4 eventually. I will be knackered what with that and the day job, and my weekends will take some juggling, but if I can manage it for a few months I should be able to get on top of things again. Also, should mean: tattoos, piercings, gig tickets I so want to see the Tiger Lillies in May, trips to London, Notts and Edinburgh, and more teeny skirts.
