Part 1
I meant to get this out a week ago, but I’ve been extremely busy. Covid is really picking up and I’m working a crazy schedule. And to top it off a family member was diagnosed with a chronic condition that came out of nowhere. It’s been a long week and a half. Enough of me. This week was another really amazing week. There were a lot of incredible sets that really stuck with me. Usually I try to limit the number a bit more, but I wanted to highlight everyone who stood out to me. So I will be breaking this into two parts. As usual, this is not ranked in any way, I love everyone’s work I mention. Thanks to all the girls and photographers who put the hard work in to make something great for us.
In her debut set, Rondaa in Coup De Foudre, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/rondaa/album/4587839/coup-de-foudre/, shot by Anilorac caught my eye. For those who do not know Coup de Foudre means, a sudden unforeseen event, in particular an instance of love at first sight. Aptly named, this was a really beautiful set that I liked at first sight. I loved the color and variety of the shots. Rondaa has beautiful eyes that I really caught my attention. @rondaa @anilorac
Utau in Tough Lover, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/utau/album/4587856/tough-lover/, shot by Gloom. This set was unique in that almost every shot was at an extreme angle. Admittedly this frustrated me to look at at first because I kept having to twist and turn my head to see it. That said, that was also why I ended up spending a lot of extra time looking at it. I grew to appreciate it for it’s unique take on tough love. Utau, looks so sweet, this was irony in the title. I imagine that maybe she isn’t as sweet as she look maybe, added some mystery to the set. @utau @gloom

The next set that really stood out to me was from Hartt, titled Metanoia, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/hartt/album/4587933/metanoia/, shot by Periguin. Metanoia is a change in one's way of life resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion. I am not sure of the significance for this set, but it’s a great way to repent. Someone may need to tell me if it is a reference I am missing. I love the colors in this set, the setting is nice and the lighting really adds to it. Well shot set. @hartt @periguin
The next set that I kept coming back to was from Hellia, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/hellia/album/4588795/breakfast-with-the-sun/, titled Breakfast with the Sun and shot by Ulia Terenicheva. Hellia, has such a really beautiful eyes to me. She has an elegance to her that defies the first glance. You won’t have to spend much time to see it. A hopeful that I think should be pink, you really should check out her other sets. I have a few particular favorites. @hellia @ulia terenicheva

And lastly Hellia is absolutely stunning in, Morning Innocence, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/hellia/album/4061373/morning-innocence/, sot once more by Ulia Terenicheva. Can’t wait to see more.
The next hopeful that I kept coming back to was the beautiful Yorkshire lass, Lokia, in the titled and self shot (?), Mind body and Soul, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/lokia/album/4589304/mind-body-soul/. I love these self shot sets. These can be difficult to do and require a great amount of patience to pull off. So I always like to spend a little extra time looking through these. There were several sets this week shot this way, but I really liked this one. But really made me select it was the intimate insight into what goes down in Lokia’s naughty little temple. Good potential and I look forward to more from Lokia. @lokia
Lastly for part one of this week’s hopefuls, I could not stop looking at this set. Zathura, in Cozy Sunset, https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/zathura/album/4590587/cozy-sunset/, shot by Fay. What an absolutely gorgeous model and shoot. Such pretty eyes, the hair is perfect and was a great set. Very well shot, I like the wardrobe choice, the setting is so comfortable, poses fit well, I really just can’t say enough about this set. Looking at Zathura’s other set. I have to recommend it highly.
