My friends from high school are getting married next summer. I have to be a bridesmaid. It's been making me think about how much I've changed in the past 3 years. I love who I am, I love my life, but it's definitely not what I imagined it would be. I grew up in a tiny little town that truly was the middle of nowhere. At the same time, some things have stayed the same. There's a Muppets poster beside the Pink Floyd girls. I got excited when I learned that I'm going to be able to take the Fairy Tales course I wanted after all.
Sometimes I might dislike a few of the details, but as a whole, I love the life I've created for myself. I love my version of normal. After all, it's not everyone who can claim that they've had a coconut milk fight in their kitchen at 11:30 at night.
