thumb hurts. why do I always hurt myself coming home like this?? bent the nail backwards pushing the button on the elevator of all things!

just came back from birthday celebrations for one of my friends. fun and wonderfulness. parade tomorrow. excitednesses.

... i guess that's about it. it seems like more fun in my head

There's an amazing storm going on right now. I'm so glad to be inside and not out in it. If I hadn't caught a ride home from work I'd definitely be out there getting soaked right now.

NEW JOB

Now all I need is a new apartment, but that isn't quite as urgent.

So, I'm back in Saskatchewan for a few days. Seeing family, making mom buy me stuff, getting away from everything for a while. Things might be stressful back in the city, but it's nice knowing that I can't deal with it right now.

Wonderful drunkennesses... I absolutely enjoy parties like that... almost 2 am before I even think about leaving, and the only reason I eventually left was because if I'd stayed much longer I'd have curled up on the couch!

I'm so glad that the social's over with. Now I just have to deal with hurt feelings. I hate not dealing with stress well. I hate when people get upset. So... in the past week I've cut my hair and had my apartment flood.
I'm liking the lack of hair but disliking the lack of wall and floor in my apartment. However, being able to listen to water dripping inside the wall was interesting. Stupid people letting pipes burst and flood buildings.
