Everyone who is from central Indiana: Go to the Beech Grove fireworks tonight! Starts around 10ish. Take 465 to the Emerson exit (52). Fireworks are at Sarah T Bolton park at 13th & Churchman Ave. (Go the opposite way from Walmart & Rallys, go toward Motel 6. Take that way til you get to Churchman, turn left. If Amtrak is directly beside you to your right, you've gone too far. You'll take Churchman til It starts to go around a bend (where it turns into 13th) & you'll see the park. If you see Little & Son's funeral home, PNC bank, and Main st, you've gone too far. They honestly might have the streets blocked off, good luck finding parking!) If you're interested, the pork chop dinner is beforehand. from 5-8pm for $8. Make sure you bring lawn chairs or blankets, bug spray, sunblock if you come early, and plenty of drinks! (they warn no alcohol though).
