I'm actually going to start posting regularly, although I don't have a whole lot to say.

Last night we played music and afterwards, got a little drunk. We made some sort of sound, delivered by angels, on the backs of those flying dragons from the 'Neverending Story" from heaven. Our lead guitar and friend constructed an effect with a tremelo and digital delay that sounded awesome. So we made a song with it.

Two friends of mine, let's call them pepperoni and juice, ended up hanging out on the lawn near my car and flipping through Sirius stations for hours. It was fun as hell. I've heard so many bands I've never heard of before. Most of these bands I'm already supposed to know from the 80's. For instance, do you remember the band Midnight Oil? They had a hit song called 'Beds are Burning'? Well they actually make newer better music! It's amazing. Also, I heard a song by Wilco that I liked but had never heard. It was old and good.

In other music news, last weekend in the city at this bar we always go to called Lawry's , I rediscovered 'Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic'. SO I got it and it's still fucking awesome. I need to obtain all the music I used to have on tape. Go to Lawry's dammit. Where values are king. And pool is always free.

So right now I'm going to get my lazy ass up and go get food. I'm fucking starving and my head is about to splode everywhere. ARRR!!!

"pepperoni and juice"?? shocked
i might check out that x.org stuff.... does suse require you to completely replace xfree86?
the other thing i forgot to note about my install was that i had to downgrade my kernel to the last one available from YAST.
any time i touch YOU, it upgrades my kernel to 2.6.5-7.108 and breaks my driver. not exactly optimal.
