So a few days ago I purchased Sun's Java Desktop System 2003 (based on Suse 8.2) I have to say, this is probably THE best productivity oriented Linux distribution I've ever seen or used. Allow me to geek out for a bit as I talk about a little something Sun calls "Project Looking Glass". A fully 3D object oriented desktop system. That means all of your windows are 3D objects that you can arrange however you want. Look it up if you care at all. I'm fucking excited. I'm less excited now though as i thought it was included with the 2003 version I just bought but in fact it isn't out until summer. Although I will get it as a free upgrade to my current package.

Wow i'm a dork. So anyway, tommorow is the Sg show at the Metro. I'm excited about meeting some new people. Hope it's a fun show.
