This was a fantastic weekend. Saw Goddamn gallows, the creepshow, and the brains play at smalls on saturday. The crazy ex had to leave before they show started because the guy she left me for decided to get so drunk that he threw up in the bar, outside the bar, and got in a fight with some bouncers. i thought that was just sweet justice right there. On top of that the show was amazing, so amazing that a couple friends and i drove down to cleveland ohio to see the brains play again on sunday.
The opening band was a pretty good and very cool local band. The venue was cool too, though there was not a very large crowd, 20 people tops. Had a ball partying and playing with the effects machine with the brains and they put on a fucking awesome show. To add to the greatness of that short road trip, we topped it off with some famous ohio skyline chili.
Tonight I went to see the creepshow in lansing. it was a damn fine show even though the whole band got sick. they still put on a bad ass fucking set, but it was a bummer for them to be all sick. all in all it was awesome, even though crazy ex and her gang of fuckin cunts showed up.
