Gifts
By Captain Deviant
Hurrah, hurrah,
The Tin Man has a heart,
Its cruel, and black,
And cold as hell,
But the Tin Man has a heart.
The Scarecrows head
Is led astray,
By whirling, twirling phrase,
His intellect so fresh and new,
Not used to such a rage.
The Lions courage
Laid aside,
When tides of love turn rough,
He hides in barrooms from his wife,
Because she called his bluff.
Somewhere over the rainbow,
Oz has lost its charm,
All the gifts,
It gave to me,
Have only brought me harm.
