Hello again. I have had a week of houseguests, which has been fun. A bit too much recreating at this point, tho. But I am grateful to have friends who will come and visit me. Otherwise life gets lonely.
Going to Costa Rica on Sunday, to see my girlfriend there. We have been sort of together for about ten months, but almost all of that has been long-distance. It is amazing it has lasted this long, given that long-distance relationships are doomed from the start, generally. Don't know what will happen down there. I suspect it'll end, due to logistical difficulties. And I may feel silly for dropping all the cash on yet another visit. But, at least if that is the outcome, I can know I did what I could. The last couple days I have been feeling like it is gonna end. But, even if that is true, one door closing means another opening. And other slogans like that as well. Vamos a ver. (At least I get to practice my Spanish, as she speaks no English at all, beyond 'I luhhhv you.')
