My dog died this morning
Just got the call a couple hours ago that my dog died this morning...and i'm hundreds of miles away for school, didn't even get to see him in his last hours.

I just saw him last weekend and he was fine as ever.
My mom said the other day he was acting a little weird...drinking alot of water but coughing it back up again, strange but he wasn't in pain so they weren't too worried but still wanted to take him to the vet today.

But this morning he threw up blood, they wrapped him up and rushed him off to the vet but he died on the way in her lap.

He was a chunky black and tan dachshund, stubby little legs and a bit out of shape. Couldn't jump up on the furniture so he would like hop to get attention for someone to pick him up. He was content in life with just being pet.

He wasn't in pain and he died being petted and paid attention to...if he had to go its best that it was while he was happy. Bye Snoopy...
