Today was a good day in gaming...
Last night i got an email saying that my 360 had arrived to be repaired and this morning i get a message that it had been repaired and is being sent back out today so i should have it back again soon (hopefully with all issues worked out)
Then while i was killing time in town i wonder into a Gamestop and spot a bargain bin, they usually don't have anything good in bargain bins but you can occaisionaly find some gaming gems...
There were TONS of good games, many having just come out recently and their all marked down for some kind of special Gamestop ONCE A YEAR SALE, some marked down 50% and they were all new. I stocked up, several good games i had waited to get...i would have been content to get them eventually at their now standard $30 but they were now $20 each...one even marked all the way down to $15.
So i got $120 worth of games for roughly $75...busted a total gaming sticky, NERDGASM
i got:
Persona 3 FES (award winning PS2 game with like over 70 hours of gameplay)
Bleach: Dark Souls (good 2-d fighting game for DS, plus i like the show)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift (turn-based RPG strategy game with like over 300 missions)
and lastly House of the Dead 2 & 3...compilation of 2 classic light gun zombie shooting games for Wii (put hundreds of quarters into the arcade machine they had at this little arcade in the local theme park way back in the day)
Not to mention the backed up pile of 360 games that i found just before my system broke:
Project Gotham Racing 4
Burnout Paradise
Dead or Alive 4
Fable 2 (almost beat it when my system froze)
so with a stack of games this mighty...MY THUMBS ARE GOING TO FALL OFF!!!!
(if the sale is still going on when i get back home tomorrow, i'm checkin out my local gamestop to see if they have any more options and this list could GROW)
