Well i had a normal and uneventful day...until i decided to sign on and talk to some people before the night was over.

There i learned that an online friend of mine had tried to commit suicide. Sometime between when i was talking to her last night and today she apparently took a whole bunch of sleeping pills...
She was fine (as fine as someone is right after they do something like that) but then in, i assume, one of her manic streaks she decides that she can't go through with the psychological follow up they require after what she had done. So she escapes the hospital!

She actually elludes whatever inept security guards they had wandering around the hospital that were told to watch her room during their rounds to escape from the hospital against their orders. All because she believed there were things she had to do at home instead (like cleaning things?!)

She tells me all this as though it were a heroic effort, not a massively stupid fucking idea, and now before i can talk long enough to convince her to go back and under go some psychological evaluation she runs off to clean things and go eat with a friend or something.
