I'm 19 as of last wednesday, this update is a bit out of date because i'm just now back to a high-speed connection and didn't wanna try playing around too much on this site on dial-up.
My classes went on break the day before and i was able to drive back home for my birthday, for the first time in 6 years my mom would actually be home for my birthday and i kinda wanted to be there too.
I get home and we do the whole big family gathering thing at my grandmother's house that night.
Nothing shows how little family members know about me than on my birthday, 2 gifts from my mom, one from my aunt...and then a big pile of cards (complete with money filling). But its alright, i know what i want and the money provides means to achieve it.
Besides my mom got the best gift, a Wii and the new Zelda game...pretty much cuz thats all i asked for.
Soon after that was cake time, everyone was laughing while they brought the cake out (i thought it was cuz they choose to use all 19 candles and it was kinda bright), but i soon learned its because my uncle got hungry earlier and decided on some cake
so it was missing a corner, but its all good and it was a good night.
But being a family event and kinda tame at that, it was all over and everyone was gone by 8.
Which is good, cuz i had my Wii out and set up by 9. I ended up playing a load of Wii Sports right then, especially the boxing (only cuz i kept hitting the wrong button and they would make me face a new guy over and over again).
Its a great system, and i spent pretty much all the money i got on stuff for it (namely some supplies to i can play gamecube games)
i'm now back at my dorm and i would love to use the net features on my Wii...but there is no wi-fi here, so i gotta find some other way to do it (damn i wanna download some of the retro virtual console games)
