I've just spent the majority of the last week in this huge cabin just outside of Ely, MN. Its beautiful, and I definitely appreciate that, but spending so much time surrounded by so much family gets to be a little stressful at times. I've finally had all afternoon to just become one with my zen, read a good book, walk along the lake, smell the fresh air, and listen to the whooshing of the wind in the pines. Yep, this is what life is about, these small moments where you can really enjoy the peace and quiet.


On another not though, I can't wait to get back to the city, where I can be impulsive and it doesn't involve a 30 minute drive to the nearest store.
