Well, life's been kind of slow around here lately, and I guess its not that bad of a thing. Sometimes lots of excitement really kind of drags things down (and drains my wallet awfully fast). Nobody's died while I was talking to them lately, nobody's gone to jail, none of that. About the most interesting that's happened to me lately was yesterday, an old friend of mine (and an old flame too) called me up and said she was in town doing some recording and she wanted to go have drinks. I met up with her at like 8 at my regular hangout, and we sat at the bar and drank and talked until closing time.
Its not that often that I can find someone to do that with. Dammit.....and of course, I missed my opportunity there. Oh well, its probably for the best that we're just friends instead of anything more, I'd probably have ended up hating her by now or something.
So yeah, no drama around here, nothing exciting, nothing too good, nothing too bad. Just keep on keepin on. The thing I'm really looking forward to is our scouting expedition to check out the grounds of the place we're throwing The Shindig at. Hopefully it won't be all snowy this weekend and we can actually go check it out.
I've got a stack of comps for my fest, and I'll post more details soon, so anyone in the MN area can come check it out for free.
