The heat wave broke.....it feels good to wake up and have it be a reasonable temperature. I'm a little afraid of what my electric bill is going to look like this month.

All right, Friday 4:30am, rise up, shower, double check my suitcase and head to the airport. Then off to Mexico for 4 days of fun in the sun, then packing up the truck and driving back......its going to be an adventure! I can't wait!

Adventures are awesome. And I guess since the whole getting up at 4:30 am thing means you'll get to go to Mexico, that's great. Still, I prefer my adventures to start with getting up at 7:30 or later.

So, going on day 9 of no smoking, its going pretty well except for these crazy vivid dreams I'm having every night. I'm not so much complaining about the dreams though, just the fact that I feel like I haven't slept at all in the morning. At least I'm getting the monkey off my back, so that's a good thing.

I smoked for 10 years before I quit for good 6 years ago. I know it can be tough. Congrats on trying to quit! Vivid dreams aren't all that bad; I find them interesting and they can definitely help you become more creative.
Quit smoking, day 1, so far so good.

So Mexico was pretty much the most amazing time ever. So much so that I'm going back in April, October, December, and whenever I can get a spare week or so off of work.
